Rear projection removes the projector from the viewing room and allows significantly brighter light in the home theatre. Draper is the industry leader in the development of rigid rear projection screens and we can provide a system to satisfy any home theatre requirement.

Cinescreen® is Draper's line of diffusion screens. It is a transparent substrate of plate glass(Cineglass®) or clear acrylic (Cineplex®), with a permanently bonded optical coating. Need a Quotation?

  Recommended for maximum sound isolation, scratch resistance, and service life.
  Flatter than acrylic in large sizes, providing better image resolution
  Weighs approximately twice as much as acrylic, breaks more easily, should be installed by a glazier. 
   
• Cineplex®
  Lightweight, durable and break resistant.
  Easier to install.
  Requires more care in cleaning, as acrylic scratches more easily than glass.
  This screen is less soundproof than glass.
  Not recommended for multiple projector installs.

IRUS (INFINITE RESOLUTION UNIFORMITY SCREEN) Rear Projection Screen was developed specifically for today's high resolution single lens projectors. Superior resolution with SXGA (1280 x 1024), UXGA (1600 x 1200) and higher projectors, with no possibility of dual imaging, ghosting or moire patterns.

The Draper VORTEX is a marriage of the best features of two rear screen technologies - optical & diffusion. A 0.5 mm Fresnel lens gathers the light from the projector and directs it at a right angle through the screen. As the light exits the screen on the audience side, a diffusion medium redistributes the light evenly in all directions—up, down, left, right and center. RPX/Complete has all the features of a RPX. It allows the choice of an IRUS, Vortex, Cinescreen® or DiamondScreen™ in a System 400 frame attached to the RPX/Complete for a perfectly aligned system. Screen sizes through 6' high x 8' wide. Framed screen “floats” in your wall opening. The wall does not bear the weight of the screen, so no finishing or reinforcement of the opening is required. Since the wall’s expansion and contraction properties do not put pressure on the rear screen, the result is a consistently flatter screen. Need a Quotation?
